Our club players in shield games

Sunday 14th of Janurary saw 2 Shield games played with players from Hahndorf representing our Association and Region after being selected.

Played at McLaren Vale, the Walker Nolan Shield is our Region 6 (Hills, Lower Murray and Southern Mallee) vs Region 7 (Great Southern and Kangaroo Island). We had four players selected from Hahndorf to play in this prestigious annual event, Richard Crocker, Geoff Deeble, Rob Hutchinson and Glen McGough. Our region 6 was victorious by 4 shots.

The Talunga shield is for players that dont play div 1 on Saturday, and is played annually. It is Hills vs Lower Murray and this year was played at Jervois. Hahndorf had 9 players selected to play and the day was managed by Val Deeble. A great day where our association went down by 5 shots.
